Facilities Department
Facilities Maintenance Technician
SUMMARY
The main objective of this position is to manage all the maintenance activities of the company related to manufacturing equipment.
REPORTS TO
Facilities Manager
HOURS:
40 hours with on call time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical High School, Diploma or Technical degree. (Electromechanical, mechanical, electronic or electrical title) or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred – Intermediate English level.
COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, PLC programs, and specifications.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers (handle concerns, complaints and issues); vendors; and staff being supervised.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involved in maintaining the safety of the building from fire, flood, and other hazards.
- Maintains preventive maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment and other facility support equipment as required.
- Prepares and create new maintenance schedules as required based on forecast.
- Control and coordinate the execution of the maintenance manufacturing process (preventive and corrective).
- Interfaces with other functions to address and resolve maintenance issues.
- Ensures continual evaluation of the facilities and maintain all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs
- Maintains a strong and reasonable spare part list of the manufacturing equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations when installation of production equipment is required.
- Coordinates contractors activities related with job responsibilities (equipment, utilities, etc.)
- Assure that all maintenance procedures are in compliance and at the same time improve the procedures as required.
- Keeps management informed of the condition of equipment and infrastructure

Quality Department
Document Control Coordinator / Quality Assurance Specialist
SUMMARY:
- The Document Control Coordinator will ensure that the documents are properly controlled in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring released documents are accurate and complete. The Coordinator is responsible for the change control process, document distribution, archiving and retrieving. As a part of Document Control, the Coordinator is also responsible for training documentation. They will communicate the company’s core values of Quality (following the quality program), Attitude (optimistic and helpful), and Attendance (be here every day and on time) throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Zero to five years of experience working in a regulated industry, such as medical devices or aerospace.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.
- Some knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, and associated standards preferred.
- Some experience with inspection equipment and methods preferred.
COMPETENCIES:
- A technical degree or equivalent experience is required, with preference to those with some administrative or project management background.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow and work in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure Quality System and regulatory requirements are met in an ethical manner.
- Maintain, update and archive company documents and records in accordance with company procedures; coordinate the preparation, approval, and implementation of these documents as well as archiving and retrieving as needed.
- Maintain security, order and cleanliness of document control area and documentation files.
- Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents. Provide interpretive assistance to all departments regarding these documents.
- Write and/or edit procedures, work instructions, or policies to ensure compliance with current Quality System and regulatory requirements with accuracy and attention to detail while meeting commitments on time.
- Ensure accuracy of redlines, redactions, and documentation associated with document change process.
- Assist with training and support organization in the proper use of Word, Excel, and other document related software to ensure proper document formatting and consistency in documentation within the company.
- Monitor external standards that are used within the organization and ensure new revisions are reviewed and maintained within the organization.
- Manage document archival and retrieval services. This includes services to confidentially shred company documents and provide off-site storage.
- System administrator for training database maintaining training documentation to ensure evidence of meeting training requirements is readily available.
- Participate in internal, external, or supplier quality audits, providing timely retrieval of all requested controlled documents.
- Assist with the maintenance of Quality Metrics. Provide support as needed for metrics in Management Review.

Quality Control Inspector
SUMMARY:
- The Quality Control Inspector checks the specifications of incoming and outgoing products by conducting tests, monitoring production processes and identifying malfunctions. They work in various manufacturing and production settings, such as the quality control department, assembly lines and laboratories.

- Read and interpret complex part drawings. Turn the drawings into functional parts.
- Set up and operate all Grinding equipment. This includes basic setup, tool changing, and minor adjustments to ensure the setup and cycle times meet what we quoted the customer.
- Use multiple metrology methods (contact and non-contact) to verify the part configuration and conformance to print specification – surface finish, straightness, concentricity, etc.
- Develop tooling and gauging to produce and measure complex part geometries.
- Troubleshoot parts during set-up and run cycles to ensure the cycle time quoted is met.
- Ensure daily output is met, and machines run on schedule at expected quality levels.
- Interfacing with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering personnel to resolve production issues and collaborate on quotes with Contract Review
- Maintain safety standards and comply with standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot machines and feeder systems and collaborate with outside machine tool providers.
